I got my new 125 gallon Show tank today. I can't wait for Big Al to get here so I can get it cycling. It looks bigger in my house than it did in the store. ;D

Those 125s are huge, especially if you are use to a 55.

What are you plans for it (don't worry if it doesn't include discus)?
Can you do photos of the set up?

I am going to use it for my South Americans and to grow out some Angels. I can take some pics. I don't have it all set up yet though. Guess I will need more Discus for the 55 now eh?

Here are a couple pics. I am going to go get 2 110W CF lights for it tomorrow. The rest of the stuff I ordered from Big Als. It'll be a while before I get fishin it but it will be fun setting it all up.

My biggest tanks are 75's.... man am I jealous!!!

Congrats and can't wait to see it set up. Let me knopw if you need some discus for it Dale! ;)

That's awesome! Here's a little tip on placing that stupish wood. Divide 72 by 2.618; that's the optimum location for a focal point, the "Golden Intersection" the Dutch and Japanese talk so much about. That's going to be one hell of a tank Dale! I can't wait to see it all set up.....I noticed you've got gravel in there. Does that mean you're going to plant it? 8)

I am going to plant it. I don't have to tell you what the lighting is like that came with it so I am getting two 36" 110w CF fixtures for it. It won't be for Discus. It will be mostly South American though with the focus on Angels. The 50 it replaced will be for Discus and Brew, yes, now I will need more Discus! ;D

Ralph, the new Discus are doing great! By the end of the second day they were all swimming normally and eating like pigs. How are yours doing?

Sweet! I would love a 125G! Like Al, Im sooo jealous! And there is no water in it? Hehe! Where do you live? LOL! ;D
