Not sure it's a problem but I've never seen this before. One of my full grown Discus had strange looking feces tonight. Normal at both ends but white slimy in the center. Fish looks great and is eating well. Water is changed 20gal a day and maintains 85 F.

Is it the internal organ or large intestine from your discus? ;D ;D

Could be simple upset stomach, sloughing the intestinal lining, could be beginning of hex. Keep a close eye. Extra water changes, cleaning the tank, a couple of tablespoons of salt per 10 gallons and raising the temp to 88 won't hurt and may be all it takes to get him back on track.

definetly watch. If the probelm continues, post again. That color is very odd, and may be the sign of something internal (protozoan, worms, or hex)

What have you recently fed?

You gotta love discus people!! How many places can you go and view a close up picture of a turd....and then calmly discuss it with everyone ;D

Tony

Ps....I agree...not a healthy looking turd
