Im not sure if u can call this guy a long fin!!!!!!!!!
lol no beta..long dorsal fin..the one you have is an extension from the tail which is rare or was fed with hormoned cow or whatever..read that thread somewhere before. ;)

I have a pair of Turks the male has a nice tail on top, and the female even has a smaller version on the bottom.
I only have a cheapo digi cam, but I'll try to post soon.
As we speak they are laying eggs, but I'll try later.

Well this fish doesn't really have a high fin like Joe's but it does have a nice streamer on the top fin.

hi ppl, usually a discus with long fin means that they are male izzit? do you all agreed? I used to have a discus with long fin but after breeding it for few months...the fin dissapeared and never grow back again..

no, i have several females growing the tail's, i beleive it's more of a sign of age. around 2 yrs i think you start seeing a tail on some. quite a few of mine have them.
