Anybody ever try this system instead of R/O ? Good ? Bad ?

Doesn't really soften the water too much and is very expensive. It's actually a water filter for removing large particulate matter and bacteria. It also does chlorine but not much else on the molecular level. The only advantage I can see over RO is the flow rates and the fact that there is no waste water.
You could buy a couple of RO units for the same price or several dozen 1 micron carbon blocks which will do a similar job..

Thaks RandalB . It kind of looked too good to be true . I don't pay for water ( condo ) , so I think I'll just go with R/O .
