white dots on tail

I have four 6 month old discus i purchased 3 months ago, i noticed two of them have approx 8 white dots white dots on their tails , any ideas as to what these could be.

this could be ich.
can be treated with salt and high temp. of around 30 DC.
do regular w/c make sure the water is of the sama paras as the water is coming out of the tank.

I would try what arpanlib said....it should work if it is ick....does it look like tiny fuzzy spots....
keep an eye on the temp when doing WC...they say that is one cause coupled with stress...
If it starts getting worse, I have used Ick Clear Tank Buddies by Jungle with great success....

My guess is fungus or bacteria dots from less than perfect water quality. Do some extra water changes. Clean the inside of hte tank and filters add salt at 2 tablespoons per 10 gallons. A week from now they'll be gone.
