Hi all,

I just want to spread my good feelings.

Here's what happened.

Almost 6 weeks ago I bought 7 Golden Rolex Leopards from Ken Davis of FishFarm. They were 4 to 4.5 inches. (see picture)

They were "pigs" from day one, eating whatever I gave them including flakes. I have them all in a 60 gallon tank.

Ken said he thought two of them were already pairing off. How right he was.

Tonight I have a heater tube that is covered with eggs, and the two prettiest of the 7 are standing guard.

Obviously I will have to make plans to help the next batch survive. My ph is still at 7.0

But I feel great that a big hurdle has been overcome.

Cheers,
Murali.

Congrats man. Golden Rolex LOL :hat: Everytime I see that name it makes me crack up. Those do look like some nice pigeon bloods though. Best of luck with the eggs.

Hi arpanlib,

Thanks.

Yes, apparently Ken of FishFarm USA knows Kitti and gets fish from him.
It was just my luck to see an auction listing that Ken had.

Nice all over pattern. You did an excellent job of capturing the color.

Hi Carol,

It is actually a picture from Ken at FishFarm. But when I take a picture of my large male you will see he is even beter patterned than that.

By the way, I owe you big time. You gave me the advice 6 weeks ago about my filter problem. Not only did your advice work to keep them alive but it go them into breeding fitness.

Thanks so much,
Murali
PS nice to be able to put a face to the name.

Hi Steve,

If now being on long term disability is "better", then I am.

Two things keep me sane ---- the discus, and a talkative parrot.

Hi Jimmy,

Nice to hear from you. Hope you are well.

I made a wise decision and decided that the snakes should leave rather than my nervous wife. She didn't appreciate the fact that once in a while one of the snakes would get loose.

So far, I have not had a similar problem with the discus. They seem to want to stay in their tank.

Cheers,
