Hi,

Some of the discus fries swims up and down near the water surface at the rear left corner and their parents just ignore them. The wigglers look healthy but just keep on swimming up and down. Why? The others stay with dad and mom but the mom takes care of the youngsters more than dad. My browns are a harmonious pair; they just stay near the cone. Why don't they bring the wigglers down?

probably the wriggles is still learning how to free swim they are not actually free swimmers yet, if I were you I would turn down all the filters, also mine get fully attached after 3 days they get off the cone just like larry experiences. I think they seems like not understand yet where are the FOOD until they see theirs brothers and sisters pecking at the big round shaped slime coat, JME
