Growout ?

I've had my new discus for almost 3 weeks. I am getting ready to split them into their growout tanks. Some of the discus have already grown quite a bit, while others are still small. Should I assign the discus to their new tanks based on strain, or by size? Should I put all the large discus together, in an effort to help the smaller ones grow? However, my goal is to one day have a pair of each strain.

Nick, always select them on size, try to keep them at the same size in one tank, if after a few weeks one/or more of them grows faster as the rest, put those again with their own size, HTH Hans.
