Hi,

You have a very beautiful and nice tank, I like to have one like yours but every time I tried to setup a tank like that, my plants starts to die after 1 week and create a silt layer at bottom of my tank :(

Would you please tell me how you setup you tank and what do you do to keep it like the first time you set it up?

Ali, I think the best way to start a planted tank is to start with easy fastgrowing plants like egeria densa, hygrophila polysperma, vallenseria ect. These fastgrowing plants will compete with algae for nourishment and therefor there will be less algae. When the fastgrowing plants are doing well, you can add some plants that will grow slower.
It is important to choose plants that require same heat, light and pH that is in your tank. How much light is in your tank? I suggest 0,5W per liter but 0,3W per liter is okay for many plants.
