I can get one eyed PB male very cheap, lfs owner told that male lost it's eye in some fight in cramped space, male looks very healthy, eating well all kind of foods, is this male good for breeding purpose ???

The one-eyed fish should be considered for breeding as long as everything else is good: shape, color, health, etc. Of course, this is assuming the owner didn't lie about how it lost the eye. If it was a congenital condition, then absolutely NOT!

p.s. ask him how much he'd sell a blind discus for? 8)

I know several people that use one eyed fish for breeding. Chirohorn is right, if the fish is otherwise perfect and the eye as an injury then there isnt any reason not to use it.

I just inherited a 1 eyed fish myself that Im hoping to put into the breeding program so I know how your feeling.

Peace,
Roger
