The San Merah's are looking cute but the red whites look a little too plastic to me ;D

Hi:

I do not like the san merah at first but they look nice from time to time. If someone could give the red discus a metallic sheen I would love them better. Well, they are not my fish though.

Hey Wo
I think they are colorfed. My friend got a snowfire and it is nowhere as red or white like the pic. Also Not a lot of people have those in the states not the F2 version.

Jim: Thanks. But the discus are not mine. The photo is posted on the web in Taipei.

Carol: Yes, the owner said that they are from snow flake x san merah selected for several generation.

Flogger426: Never mind. They are not mine.

Beta: You are right. The owner who sells the red white says that he is color feeding the red-white since 5cm and claims that it is a way to select the ones will be red when grown.

Blueknight: You are absolutely right. He says he is using the astaxanthin for coloration.

Thanks for your replies. Have a nice weekend.
