Hanna combo meters

Hi ,i have just recieved my hanna combo meter,does the meter need to be calibrated before use or is this done in the factory.cheers Alsbeth

Hi all,
Alsbeth, I believe all meters are calibrated at the factory upon manufacture(there should be a little piece of paper in there with it that says when, who and what measurement it was calibrated too), but IMO.......you should ALWAYS calibrate every piece of testing equip JUST TO BE SURE ;)

I think jason is the best person to answer you this question as he's one of the authourized dealer..If I am not wrong u need to calibrate them when the calibrate sign flash on the LCD.

you need to calibrate them out of the box

its easy just follow the steps in the instruction pamphlet.

when the meter is calibrated it will say "CAL" on the lcd screen.

when you don't see the letters "CAL" on the screen then its time to do it again
