tapeworms and prazi

I just discovered one of my discus had tapeworm on Monday. I noticed this after wc. This happened during my last day of Metro treatment. I purchased 3 grams of Prazi from Barry and hope to get it soon. Since Monday, I have been removing one tapeworm a day since. I expect to remove quite a bit of tapeworm after I put the prazi in my tank.

What is the appropriate method to remove these worms? A net, vacuum? Should I crank the heat up? Add salt? I have plastic plants that are potted with rocks to hold them down. Should I remove them during treatment for easier access to the worms? My tank is barebottom. Thanks for your help

Siphon them out .
Are they segmented? SOmetimes the white that comes out from hex looks like worms, but is not segmented if hex.
