Fry aren't eating

I have about 80 fry that won't leave the mom. I squirt bbs at them a few times a day, but they just ignore it. They are getting their discus shape a little and their bellies look full, but they won't touch anything I give them. The mom looks like she is ready for them to leave her alone. I would really like to leave the babies with the parents for a while. Any ideas on how to get the babies to eat?

How old are your fry? Mine are at least 7 days free swimming before they really eat bbs. Just keep trying. Pretty soon they will hunt down the orange wiggling bbs.
