whats the correct temp when treating with prazi

hi all,just one qick question ,anyone know if prazi treatment works effectively when used at 92 degrees , i want to maintain 92 for at least 5 more days,because my discus just came off metronidazole today ,or should i back it down a bit. ??? ??? ;D ;D

Why don't you let them rest for a week before you start the prazi . . . .

hi carol,i havent put prazi yet but wanted to know if i could at same temp i treated with metro prior.i guess i should let them rest for a week and then continue with prazi but at what temp ???.i would have liked to continue from metro right into prazi to keep the battle on parasites or worms strong.but guess its not a good idea. :-\

I think it's regular tank temps like 84/86

Prazi will work at normal temp ranges of 82-88 F.

My understanding prazi will work at even at quite high temperatures. it's used as a dog/cat and sheep wormer, where the body temp is well above 30 degrees cent.

hi gisela, i got my prazi from a guy named barry illman his email is billman@citinet .he sells prazi at $5.00 per gram ,3 gram minimum order.1 gram treats 100 gallons 1 time.best deal around.please correct me if im wrong ,dont want to give wrong info to anyone. ;)

No worries Hector. I can tell you personally I have treated with Prazi at 34 degrees C. (Sorry don't know what that is exactly in Farenheit, but it's hot). Make sure you mix it up as well as you can before administering it. I've had no noticeable loss in biological filtration either. When doing the next w/c after administration, clean the substrate as well as possible.
