I was Curious if Discus can get Ich

Yes if temperature is under 80 or something. Not at 86.

Ich cannot live in the water temps in which Discus require 82-86, but if it drops below 82 chances of seeing ich increases.

I've had ich two-three times at an 82 temp. I try to keep it 85-86 now due to that. I had read alot of articles, surprise surprise in mag 'Ask Jack' column he had said 82-83 best temp for Discus. I reduced my temp from 85 over a three day period and got ich. go figure.

I got velvet too, temps all at 83 !!
