:bounce2: :bounce2: Hey Shamsoo, whatever is "Joe's buffer formula"?? R u sure you're not referring to his formula to reconstitute r/o water??? If so, you need to adjust the TDS (ppm) for the category of fish you wish to put in this water. Youngsters need the calcium & magnesium for growth so the ppms are relatively high in order to supply the necessary minerals; breeders, very low, (which you have now, at 30ppm). How long have you aerated? sometimes 8-12 hrs is enough, you have to just keep checking 'til you know what your water needs, Pleez elucidate, Dottie ;D

Hi, dottie, it is the same one for regenerating r/o water, aerating since last 48 hrs in holding tank, dropped some dilute HCL and ph is stable at 6.2, thanks
