Hello Everyone

My fry will be 3 weeks old tomorrow and they are growing nicely. The combination of a small batch (about 30 of them) and good food/water.
They love the CBW and crushed pelets that they get.

I have noticed some minor flashing going on so I was wondering when a good time to treat with formalin would be. Formalin is all that I have at the moment.

The fish are about thumbnail size or a bit bigger and they are still in with the female discus.

Thanks
Roger

I have small guys that were doing the same thing . I raised the temp to 90 added 1 tabls salt per10 gal . After three days no problem . It might have been from the brine shrimp catching in there gills . Unless they are doing it constantly I wouldn't treat with medication .
My two cents worth
However it might only be worth 1 cent.

:)

Thanks Fisheyes

I wont be treating today, since I have a ton of things to do and i dont like doing meds unless I can actually focus on whats going on. Though I can raise the temp and do a bit of salt. Thats usually pretty low risk.
