In what part of Indiana do you live? Jeff's Discus is in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. His number is (708)499-8006. He might even mail some discus to you.

I second the recommendation of Rocky Mt. Discus. I recieved some nice Marlboro Reds from them.

Jeff's Discus is also a good place. Jeff is a Wattley distributor and has also carried some of Cary's GLD discus.

If you don't want to get ripped off with your hard earned money go with Cary. He has the reputation he does because of the number of happy customers he has sold to. Cary is in Detroit and well worth the drive or phone call. In fact I too have a few things ordered from him for myself. If you go with someone else you are taking your chances. Do you like to play Russian roulette? :)

Don't shy away from ordering discus through the mail. It was strange for me at first because I was so accustomed to being able to go to a LFS and choose fish for myself.

But if you do your research and get recommendations and opinions from people who have been successful with various breeders (VERY IMPORTANT), I don't think you will be disappointed with ordering your discus "sight unseen".
