Their on their second batch now...and their sharing very well. doing better this time at sharing than last. and hes gotten more protective.
All of our customers are finding it fascinating. especially when they see them switch and one go dark and one swim away and lighten up.
The babies look great April :)

LOl i think they were just singing. lol.Most likely "kookaburra sits in the old gum tree" or they are still in shock their whirlpool goes the wrong way.
Or their like little birds waiting with their mouths open for more food from mom? yummy blackworms.

These are nothing but culls. I will never cross a man with al. I collect culls. Send them all to me. Cute babies. Are they F1 parents?. what is Alencer? Is it a place or the species. Just joking.

Jimmy just for you....."Alenquer." Alencer is easier to type. lol. got in a bad habit. i will repent.
Tony...smokey. darcy, gary, and mench, and JImmy....this batch is all mine. lol.
next batch is coming up. hold your horses. And i might need another batch after these ones....for all you guys. Patience i say....patience.

Chris the mom and dad are siblings. they are f1 from Rods alenquers. .. and a manacapura cross. right Rod?
so anxious to see how the fry turn out. most of the siblings are more solid red. the females anyhow.

Hi April,
The parentage of those discus are
Father: Selected 'royal blue' bred from Wild Manacaparu parents.
Mother: Alenquer which i produced myself from a line of discus which were originally imported from germany.
I love the 'wild' look in discus and thats what the aim was when breeding these fish, i'm so happy to see April doing so well with that pair i'm sure she will produce some stunning fish from them.
