Sick Discus, need quick advice!!

Have a discus with white spot about .3 cm in diameter on the bottom fin.

Here is my question.

I am using coppersafe to treat but I am wondering if I can use Maracyn-Two "with" the coppersafe to prevent or treat a secondary infection.

Fish looks ok and is eating, hopefully I get this right and save my fish.

Not going to add the Maracyn-two until somebody can answer my question.

Hi Dan,
Maracide 2- is not neccessary...its a very potent antibiotic.. save it for the important stuff. I'm not even sure that what you have requires Copper.... I'd be real careful on your pH/water hardness is you are using copper.

Do you have a picture? and can you post some more info on your fish, tank, when you saw this first. Theres probably safer ways to deal with this.

Never mix antibiotic's with Copper! it is very dangerous mix!

Oxy Tc will be the only one that will work with copper.
