My five little guys in my 50 seem to be doing just fine, but there are a few signs of fighting and/or chasing going on. One blue turk seems to be getting the brunt of most of the chasing, but they all seem to do it at one point or another. They have only all been in the tank for about 30 hours.

Are they just establishing a pecking order, or is this something more severe?

Hi,
you are probably right. Establishing a pecking order would be my guess. :)

30 hours in the tank - they're just establishing a pecking order. They will pick on each other from time to time for months.

Its funny that were thinking about pecking order. Mine only do it when I feed them! My big Tangerine picks on my Blue Diamond, my Blue Diamond picks on my other Blue Diamond, that blue Diamond picks on a different tangerine, that Tangerine picks on my other Tangerine, and that Tangerine just says "why is everyone picking on me?" But those fish leave my 3 wild Green Perus alone. Very weird!

Actually, I just fed them and I find this hilarious. The one who was getting picked on the most seems to definately be getting his share of food. He's swimming around the tank away from the guys chasing him, and he's gulping brine shrimp as he goes along, LOL.
