fighting pair, any ideas?

Hi,

I got a proven pair that got into real bad shape and rescued them from a LFS.

They are glowing now and eat like pigs, look great and seem very happy.

They are now fighting, no damage is caused to either fish but the square up lip lock and side bump each other all the time.
Does anyone have any suggestion to help get them loving again. I am desperate to get these two breeding again but all i know has gone without helping.

They are about 2 years old and show amazing colours now.

sounds like they are getting ready to breed to me.... i havn't had this experiance personally but have read a few threads descibing this exact behaviour just before breeding. if i'm right you should be happy pretty soon.

Hi,

I have had pairs breed but it's never started this way.
However the fact they are showing no damadge could indicate it's not as rough as it looks ??????
