Hi dsmith,
I have used the azoo red. Had some problems with bloat even after soaking pellets. The discus like tetra bits better with no problems.

Mine dont really care about Azoo, or the Tetra Bits, they all go nuts for the Hikari Pellets

this is not to bash hai feng or anything

but i notice that they use VERY excessive amounts of colour enhancing "ingredients" (not sure if they are natural or not)
but i doubt it's good for ur fish...

i'm still wondering what's the diff between azoo's "blue" and "red" food....

i'm pretty sure they have the exact same ingredients, but what brings out the blue?

My fish all like the Hai Feng. I don't like the price. They also like color bits. At first they didn't want to eat the Azoo. I started adding it to my beefheart mixture, and they ate it there. Pretty soon they were accepting it by itself. I feed all three at once.
I have a 55 gallon growout tank with about 45 inch and a half juveniles. I added a large DIY sponge filter yesterday morning. The sponge was white when I put it into the tank. I'm looking at it right now and it is a light red color. Cant see it in the water, but it is there.

what i believe is that, the hai feng super bits for the blue discus is they use the blue algea in it.and they get soft real fast once you throw them into the water.my discus love them.and i heard alot people using it and have a very good resolve for it.

Ok here is a stupid question. Where is everyone buying their azoo products and hai feng products? I wanted to get some variety in their staple of dried food.

Please let me know where you get your food and how much they are.

I haven't bought Azoozoooo (ha) lately - but initially I bought one for Red and one for Blue - well the Discus wouldn't eat it anyway, but reading the back I can't find any difference - am I missing an ingredient here? for the blue color is what I was trying to find out. Let me know if you know.

I've been feeding the Azoo red for a few weeks. I'ts much smaller than tetra bits, so one month old fry prefer it, but all discus eat it readily now.

AZOO is very popular in australia.
My discus like it, and i do to, virtually makes no mess, and sinks slowly.

Have no idea about the blue colouring agent, but it there is one, must be some unatural colouring chemical

I can't get my discus to touch the blue.

It took a few days, but I just fed them the AZOO and nothing else. They eventually took a liking too it. Now, I use it as the morning food.
