In my small hatchery I have a 15 watt light mounted in the ceiling.
My 130 gallon here in the house I have a 15 watt bulb in a lamp about eight feet from the aquarium as a night light.
Not just for tanks with fry, but I use a night light all the time.
Good luck with your fry

Hi Sertac:
I keep a dim room light on all night for the discus. I have the discus in various rooms of my house. This way they aren't startled if I have to get up or turn on a regular light at night. I sleep with the night light on (4 tanks are in the bedroom) and I haven't noticed an increase in my aggressivness, lol.

I think a small light at night would be close to what they have in nature, more like moon light.
