hi...these are Penang discus. I only feed them with blood worm....havent try any color enhancing food to intense the color....maybe one day, will keep u all update abt it:) So are going to get some for yourself??

Here are some pics of my MRs from Jeff. I got these 3 weeks ago and they are HUGE! These guys grow so fast and eat like horses. Youre gonna love your MRs Jason!

Here's another one with my violet reflection. Check out how small their eyes are in proportion to their body. 6x a day feedings, CBW, and 50%WC every day makes a difference I have learned.

Greg, Those are some very nice clean pigeons, But I would not call them MR. Color is all wrong and they should not have the pearls in the front half of the body. The pictures pigeon posted are true MR. Lots of folks pass off red based fish as MR, but they should be bright red, clean with either a white (Red Doll) or yellow face with very little or no spots or stirations. Those are very nice looking fish, just not MR in my opinion Ken

:o very solid red..did u feed them any color enchancer? Hey fish farm,can i know how do u distingush between MB and red melon?? I pretty confuse abt this...As far as i know, MB can be derived either from tangerine,golden or pigeon (those with peppering)...so the offspring of them are different. somebody pls correct me if i am wrong.

My Marlboro's came from Kitti in Thailand, He developed the original MR from Pigeon crossed with wild Ica red. I've never had rose red but I believe it is red all over and does not have the light colored face. Cary or Joe could tell you for sure. I feed a lot of beefheart with shrimp mixed in, bloodworms and flakefood. My beefheart recipe is in the food thread. Ken
