I got mine from LFS. Hadn't had the time or nerve to try it yet though. It's a Marineland product that has to be kept refrigerated.

Got mine from the lfs - they keep it refrigerated. It is expensive but it works. In 24 hours you are ready to go!

Can I ask a question?? How can bacteria that needs food and air survive in a bottle with the top closed and no air getting in or food for that matter? Is this something new, does it have a shelf life. :)

hunterbeav,

Refrigeration slows down the metabolism of the bacteria (do bacteria have metabolisms - at any rate, it sorta enters them into stasis). And, yes, it has a shelf life.

I guess if it works, it works. So now I'll get mine out of the fridge! :)

Hi!

when you buy the product, you have to check the expiration date. The closer is the worse and do not over dose.
