4" BD darken.... Is it sick?

Hi,
My 4" BD had turned dark for week, but it seems acting normal, pecking other, tracing other, fin raise up, eating as normal and feces are dark.
Is it sick? Thanks for any help. :)

Hi,
It could be an indicator of stress. I would make sure to do wc's everyday, about 30% with dechlorinated/ no chloramine water.

I have feeling it might be subject to 'acid drop'. Have you tested the hardness and ph of your water in tank, and compared it with the water out of your tank?

If it is similar, then it may be stress. Up the water changes.

You need to check your PH and keep it in check.
PH drop they turn a very pretty dark blue.
Been there done that.
