Gill flukes may be one of the deadliest problem for fry. What do you use to treat for this problem when it arises?

Hi Chuck, thanks for the info.
Anyone else want to weigh in with their preferred med for younger fry?

Hi, I had 9 day old fry curled up in the corner of the tank dying one by one from flukes, I used formalin and acriflavine, turned the lights out for a few hours. The deaths stopped. That seemed to work well in an emergency situation.

hi Barb,
Thanks! What dosages did you use on the formalin and malachine green? I guess you used them together?
I use PP with my adults (per teddyj @ 1/8 tsp crystals mixed with 400 mL r/o for stock used at 4 mL per gal), but I think it may be too strong for fry. Any thoughts?

Hi Sam, I used 2 drop/gal of formalin for 6 hours and ACRIFLAVINE, not malachite green, sorry. I used dosage on the bottle of acriflavine.
