Who uses Melafix, and would it be a problem to add to my tank after water changes?
I've used Melafx on discus on two occassions for the full seven day treatment. Both times, no negative side effects and it seemed to help with minor external ailments. It does make your room smell like tea tree though. ;D

It's worth every dime you pay for it when you need it but does not need nor should it be used after every water change.

Why would you want to add melafix after every water change ??
I think melafix helps healing of small, minor wounds, tears, scratches, and probably contributes to control potential secondary infections of such wounds. Not a whole lot more IME.
But it is still a med, costs money, and adds conductivity and dissolved stuff in your water. Unless needed....why ?
