Rubber hose ok ??

Wondering if anyone can help me out. I am setting up
a wet-dry filter and I can not find the correct PVC
flexible hosing to fit the connectors. I saw black rubber
hosing that would fit but I am wondering if this is ok to
use ?

Some hoses are chemically treated to prevent mildew and such. Use food grade hose.
