Attached is a link for the WINNERS 2ND INTERNATIONAL ADA DISCUS SHOW. If there are no standards for Discus quality, does anyone know how the judges decide which fish win?

I don't think the classes are even the same from show to show.

Rather than a standard for every type of discus, perhaps a good start would just be the distinct types. Domestics could be broken down into 6 basic groups . . .pigeonblood, striated discus, snakeskin discus, Red spotted discus, solid discus (blue, white, red, golden yellow), all other domestic discus.
