Qbal18,
I feed all frozen food straight out of the freezer into the tank. No rinsing or thawing. I've been doing it this way for a couple of years and no problems.

My frozen food goes from the freezer to the tank. If you let it sit in water or thawed out all day long you are going to have a serious bacteria problem. IMO

What I do is put frozen bloodworms in a fine mesh fish net and rinse it under hot water in the sink. This will quickly thaw and rinse the food and then I just dump it from the net into the tank.

Why would chlorine in the water have any effect on rinsing food?
