Just got this male Red Turk last Thursday from Mike Wells. After a day or so for recovery, I put him in with the lonely female Alenquer Red. She's been paired with another Alenquer and laid many times, but he turned out to be infertile or uninterested. They immediately hit it off and spawned within four days! I'm so impressed with this studly behavior that I have to share the joy! :) :)

Very interesting.....beautiful pair! I have a male PB who paired with a blue female.

How are they doing now? Did you get any to hatch yet?

Tom - on day 2 they ate the fertile eggs and left about 20 fungused eggs. But that's OK. I'm sure they'll get it right sooner or later. I might move them into a 29 gal. bare tank for breeding.
