I have a well so water is free, it's the power bill that kills me, This time of year about $400 (just for the hatchery, the house is billed separate!), double that in the winter plus propane to heat is another $600-800 a month. Ken

$43 per month.

Keep up with the R/O filter replacements! Dirtly filters make the R/O less efficient and waste more water.

about $6 (or less) - just the cost to run my well pump :)

At the moment, all Im running is arond 75G a day (3x 25G water changes) plus 45G on Saturday = 2430G/month (75G x 30days + (45G x 4)).

That runs me around $60-70cdn!
(Just wait until I get fish into the rack system! Another 90G x 2 daily :o )!

Heres me thinking Water was free ;D I cant understand the principle of being charged for something that occurs naturaly here in the UK water is not metred (however some of the newer houses do now come with water meters) but I have unlimited water for a cost of approx $30 per month still over the top I think but at least its not dependant on the amount of water I use otherwise id have to rob a bank ;D ;D

:bounce2: :bounce2: Between the horses & now the fish, I couldn't afford it if didn't have a well. There is available water in front of my house/hospital/barn, & I live in terror they'll force me to hook up. Would keep the well for the horses & fish (if it hangs in there), it is old (like me). Just had to replace the water pump & install a new, larger reservoir, & the plumber told me the well is ok at present & he can put a new one in if necessary. So far, so good. Electric bills always are tough, I like the aircon, hate to be hot, lol, Dottie ;D ;D :o :o :o

Well more bad news for the consumer in alberta

Gas went up again to I believe around 7 00 a gig.j

Is ther anywhere that is reasonable to live anymore .
Mabey we should all move over to Tyland .I understand
if you have 100,000 you can live like a king and the view is not to shabby either.
And and and you could have someone do your water changes.
