Here's some of our babies. They are starting to develop some interesting patterns. We got about 75% pigeons and 25% turqs. Not the most ideal pairing, but they chose each other, and what were we to do? The original spawn was 80 or 90 fry, and Rod helped us cull them to a more manageable 50. So what do you think?

Regards, Ari :)

One of the turqs (I think - notice the pigmentation through the eye. The pigeons have a clean eye) And yes - I know I need to clean the glass...

A pigeon - clean eye. Similar pattern though.

Solid pigeon (for now...) :)

Last one - group shot of a feeding frenzy. Notice big blue at the extreme left of the shot? He's the only one of the spawn to colour up like that. He might end up solid.

Thanks guys ;D ;D. They are growing really well..... I think. They are always eating like there is no tomorrow, and makes our food bills escalate through the roof.....lol. Have to sell them soon, otherwise.... no food for 'bun'....lol.

I really wish we could keep them all just to see how they turn out.... but there is no way we can do that... They are getting too big for their tanks already...

April,
The baby is still in my tummy... I think he/she enjoys being inside there too much...lol. The bags are packed and we are ready to go... The car is full of diesel... so, anytime the baby decides to arrive and meet us, we are ready.... 2 MORE DAYS TO GO!!!!

Regards, Ari :)

Hi Ari & Scott,
Great bunch of kids you have there! Fantastic colours already. Congratulations on your "raising" skills. Good luck in the near future with your new gorgeous addition.

Shaun.

Nice looking fry, girl. Keep up the good work.

Hmmm, I may have to talk to Rod about "scooping" some of them for me.
