I just left the fish/computer room for the night, but needed to go back and get something I forgot. When I walked by the first tank, I noticed something dirty on the side glass. It caught my eye, because I had just completed my nightly W/C. You guessed it, one of my discus was laying rows of eggs. One of the Melons was laying eggs, and the other (larger) one was eating them! Pretty cool. The discus are roughly 7-8 months old, so they are still very young. As I type, she is laying rows and rows of eggs on the glass.

Here is a bad pic, but I didn't want to use a flash and ruin the moment. I bet you remember your first time!!! ;D

Yes, I do remember - very exciting. They are young, but PB males mature pretty early. I have a PBSS male that had wigglers at about 10 mos.

wow nick thats great. their very nice looking red fish. should be fun. mine had wigglers by about 10 months but not pb. but took until about 14 months for him to get most eggs fertilized. their spawns are alot bigger now.
go out and invest in a nice flower pot for them. lol.

Nice! Congrats! Are you planning to move them from the community tank?

I was planning on leaving them in the community tank for 3-4 months, to let them mature a bit.

What do you think?

Right on Nick! Im really glad that it is working out for you! ;)
Id just leave them together until old enough to breed. No sense hurrying them along too fast and being disappointed.
