i finally have some photos of my babies and i thought i would share them with everyone. i'm only a newby and have only had discus for 3 months.

please feel free to comment

this first little guy is a bit of a mystery strain....he i from a batch of wild browns but he has a lot of coloue so i think one of his parents must have been a cross, not a straight wild. i have two others of these that show little of no colour. i'll post them next

i just found a picture of the wild brown with no colour. compare it to the first two and see the huge difference in the colouring

Hi Matt :)

Well done mate, they look healthy and display some very nice colors. I love the patterns on the rt's especially.

and that's exactly how it should be Matt. good on you. I;m the same.

pic1. looks like it could have a bit of alenquer.i'm probably wrong but, well. its just that he looks a lot like mine.
and your PB looks good.no peppering.
like your setup with the plant and neons..

you know, sometimes, little ones don't look that great, but when they start growing, they transform into really nice fish.

They all look nice to me, but the first two browns are my favorite.

thanks for the comments guys

i was told that the wild brown are called sassi reds when i got them. i had never heard of them but i think it was pascale who told me that they are called santarems. once again i've never heard of them. ireally like them though, especially the first pic
