Here are a few shots of my fish. VD18 (vivid star?) and red snake.

The middle one is the VD18. The one on the left, no idea - any suggestions? I am hoping the colors start to come in more...

This guy is the smallest of my 7. It spends most of the time by itself on the opposite side of the tank of the rest. Beginning to think he may be sick, or not getting enough food. I feed on both ends of tank.

the guy on the left is starting to show some signs of green just below his dorsal fins. Not sure what type he is either.

Where did you get your discus? How long have you had them? Interesting tank setup.

Fins are erect, but your fish look very dark - especially the blue diamond types. Is it just the photos?

Hi all,
Giroux68, I must agree with Carol in that they do look dark. Their fins are erect and they do have good finnage colors, but I am wondering if you know what the Dissolved Oxygen content levels might be of their water? It looks like there is a lot of organics in there(plants, algae, etc.), which could be eating up alot of the Oxygen. What is the tank temp? What is your cond. or TDS? Just wondering.

hmmm,
Those VD18 looks alot like the adults of my F1 Wild greensX Blue snakeskins. I wonder what the VD 18 is bred from?

The VD18 looks very different than the ones on their website. I thought they are suppose to be more spotted? Maybe it will show more as it grows up?

The tank is planted. There has been a bit of an algae problem, but not huge. PH 6.5, temp 85, GH 3, KH 2.

They are very DARK. I don't think they will get much better.
Red Nose, snow white, red gold cap, rose red are the types that I can't tell which is which.

I agree w/Henry. Those vivid stars don't look anything like the spotted fish on the website. Not even a darker version of the same discus. Hmmm, how much were they?
