Adding juveniles

Hi Friends-
I have a 40-gal planted tank with rummynose, cory's, and discus. I had 2 discus for about a year and a half. On Sunday I came home from a trip and 1 had died. I would like to get several juveniles and add them to the tank but I am wondering if the 1 big discus will eat them.

I'm not sure if it'll eat them, but it will likely be aggressive. If possible I would recommend some sort of redecoration. If possible, put them all in a different tank for a month to get used to eachother. That'll also help you keep an eye on them and will help with fattening the babies up.
