???does anyone have an opinion on daily water changes vs a drip system?

HI,
I have used both, and I like the daily wc's better (more work , but I think my fish do better) JMO
the drip system worked fine, but daily wc's seem to be best.

Can't give a comparison. But, I drip. That way the water gets changed; no excuses, no emergencies, no questions.

That said, the amount of water that gets directly replaced every day from vacuuming out waste amounts to at least 10% for each of my tanks.

So, dripping isn't a replacement for the good old suction hose. Basically, I think of it this way: going without waste removal is like skipping maid service but going without water change is like wearing yesterdays unmentionables again today (yuck, LOL).
