Advise Pls

Hi,

I have a pair of 4 inch discus - golden pigeon blood. Earlier i had a pair of juveline blue diamond with them and the pigeon blood discus kept on harrassing the BD till they died. >:( . recently i got a pair of juveline discus again and the same thing is happening. the pigeon bloods go out of the way to harass the new discus and keep on chasing them around the tank and dont allow them to eat etc. how do i avoid this ?

do i put a divider and keep the juveline seperate till they are big enough ?
or shall i replace the juveline with another pair of the same size as the pigeon blood ?

do u suggest that if i want to add more discus to my main tank.. should i get the same size discus ?

Yes, it would be easier with discus of the same size. How big is your main tank? Discus are territorial when they reach breeding age (as you are seeing now)

You would need to quarantine any new arrivals before adding to your existing stock.
