I had 4 discus in my 90 and just picked up 4 more roughly the same size.

I now have 3 pigeon blood , one ocean green, two red turks and two oddballs I picked up because I liked them.

The two odd balls were out of an assorted tank one looks like a pigeon cross and the other im not sure of it is blue lol but I liked their shape.

I now have 8 that I figure will start pairing off in 4 to 6 months.

I have the pair I have already been spawning and fry as well.

Doesn't appear to be a snakeskin. SS usually have 14 bars (not including broken ones). :D

The mother has that many and the pattern on a few of the offspring have thrown me they are almost like tiger striping.

Some just look normal , here are the parents moms left and dad is right.

The amount of peppering on my pigeons concern me but it seems to be disapearing a bit as they get older.

They have some vivid red and blue in them though.

The picture on reply #10 shows snakeskin babies on the right and left.

Unfortunately the pepper doesn't go away. It's kinda like the stress bars and in adults may lighten to the point you barely see it . . . . but will show immediately if the fish is excited
