every two weeks i seem to have a fluke problem with the babies. two weeks ago i completed a full 3 treatment, 3 days apart with formulan 3, salt, and 82 degree water. 2 days ago, almost lost them again, so i changed water, redosed, and added salt, they were eating in minutes.

so how can i stop these pesky buggers. i'd like to hit them with something stronger but don't want to kill them.

should i switch tanks every day following a dose of formulan? can i use pp on the babies?

help!!!

You can start by using a better form of formalin. Try 37% instead of that Form3- it is very weak. Frank

IME Flukes do not kill baby Discus!

Only Hi bio-load AKA poor water Quality ETC...

Try 22mL per 15 gals for a 1/2 Hr bath! Then move them to a new clean tank free of flukes + High Bio-load.

ok, i was wondering if my tank was overstocked.
i have 18 babies in a 22gal breeder tank. all are 1.5 inches or so. about 6-7 weeks old.

i'll try the dip and move them to a larger tank.
