How do you store the bbs after siphoning them out of the hatchery?

BBS lost most of its value 24 hours after hatching. It's best to get 3 bottles going in rotation. Use what you can within 24 hours and freeze the unused portion in ice cube tray in the freezer. Growth will suffer if non-nutricious bbs are used. Marked difference in size will occur. It's important to use a new bottle everyday.

Hi Barb, I have two bottles going, I start one every 12 hrs, what I don't use I freeze in ice cubes, Good to have some frozen incase something goes wrong with the hatch.

They hatch in 24 hrs so if you start one in the morning you can use it next morning. Also start one each evening for the next evening's use. This way the bbs is freshly hatched when you feed it and if something goes wrong you only have to wait 12 hours for the next batch to be ready.

That's the way I find best.
