Smart or just trained?

When I feed CBW's to my young ones, there seems to always be one that knows there's a second drop and they wait for it, rather than getting caught-up in the initial frenzy. What do you think, smart or just trained?

They are smart but just need to be trained. ;D
Discus are greedy, always want for more food. :)

do any also wait for a third drop, or one more drop than you usually put in? if that's the case i'd say trained. if they only wait for the second drop i'd say smart.
