Hi Guys,
as I know all wilds live in waters from 6.5-6.8 ph .... I was wondering by maintaining water changes can you get thrm to live in 7 or 7.5 ph
thanks

My 20 wilds are in ph 7.5 to 8. No problem.

clean them out, and feed them well- you'll have no problems in that water.

I lived on a well before that had values of ph8.4 and 350us, my wilds thrived and spawned.

the water was so hard we went through a coffee maker every 8 months and if the water level in my tanks evapourated more than a 1/4" it left a crust on the glass! glad I don't live there anymore :P

I have about 20 or so wilds mixed with some domestics.

They are sitting in 7.5 ph. No problem whatsoever.

Lol, you have become a discus junkie. How many weeks has it been since your last discus purchase? Personally I think you should get both pairs.

Most wilds dont mind at all as long as the water is clean. Heckels (IME) are more prone to health problems at higher than 7.0 Good thing there are so many gorgeous wild types to choose from ;D
