Forgot the mother of all Planted tank sites:

http://www.thekrib.com/

Lots of info regarding Discus and Planted Tanks found here.

I based my planted tanks over 10 years ago on info from this site.

Hi all,
There is also a great mailing list for planted tanks ( see below )
Frequently there are planted discus tank threads.
The rest of the threads contains a massive amount of information regarding planted tanks. If nyou go through most of it, a time consuming activity ( well worth it ) you'll have a good idea on how to get relatively algae free planted tanks even with discus, plus all kinds of advice on how to make your plante fertilisers, build your CO2 system, sources of equipment, and most importantly , a lot of insight in the biology of planted tanks, ( more than cycling filters but all kind of pathways and metabolitic events that happen in aquarium systems. ) it can get quite technical ( especially when talking chemistry) but there is info for anybodies taste and level . The only disadvantage is that it is a bit disorganised as the list is based on older technology. Personally I thank it to that list that I can keep a planted discus tank without algae now. enjoy! :)

Most of these links are dead. :-(
I found many broken links or redirects to places not really appropriate to Planted Discus tank reference links as well.

I tried starting from the newest date and it is still frustrating!

I suggest that the moderator or moderator's appointed person should think about consolidating and editing the list as a sticky at the top of the thread with new posts to the thread being
[/INDENT]a) nominations for the sticky list or
b) advice that a link has broken.

It is a great idea for a topic!
