I know you can't tell unless they are spawning, but what do these pointed(male) and rounded(female) look like so i know? Does anyone have pictures?

and what are the pointed and rounded things are they fins? or just something that comes out when they are spawning? confused ???

They are breeding tubes. The male's is smaller and pointy - the females larger and rounder

Look through the breeding and the photo sections Look closely at pictures where the discus is sliding up a cone or pot.
