I AM NEW TO THE BOARD AN AM ENJOYING IT SO FAR. I HAVE TWO TANKS NOW ( A 55 AND A 10) I AM TRYING TO REGULATE THERE WATER FIRST AND ONCE I GET THE HANG OF IT THEN I WILL MOVE TO A FEW CHEP DISCUS. JUST TO MACK SURE I CAN DO IT.
I READ THE THREAD ON PREFILTER AND TRIED TO PUT SOME POLY-FIL INTO THE END OF MY WIFES PANTY HOSE AND CAME UP WITH A PREFILTER. I USED WHITE JUST FOR DEMISTRASHEN PERPOSES. I THINK IT WILL WORK WELL, TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK. :-*

IF it is easy to pull off daily to rinse and to put back on the intake tube it is perfect ;D

I'm sure it works, but it is kinda ugly in your nice looking tank there... You could probably find something more visually appealing.

THANKS JOHN THE WHITE WAS JUST FOR DEMONSTRATION. I HAVE IT IN BLACK NOW AND IT LOOKS NICER THAT WAY.

Do you have the red garder on the blk. stocking as on the white ones?

Try Johns I got a few very happy about 6.50. I go 3-4 days between removing, however, I clean daily with vac.

As for the stocking, I heard of them breaking down and the fish eating it and having problems.
